The
Work-Life Balance campaign The
Prime Minister launched the Work-Life Balance campaign in March 2000. Its
aim is twofold: to convince employers of the economic benefits of
work-life balance, by presenting real-life case studies; and to convince
employers of the need for change. The
campaign supports employers through the Challenge Fund, and its guidance
materials. Over
the next five years we'll be helping employers provide people with more
choice and control over their working hours.
Campaign
Organisers The
Work-Life Balance campaign is situated within the Department for Trade
and Industry (DTI), where it sits alongside policy and legislation on
employment rights. This includes maternity rights, paternity and
adoption leave, time off for emergencies, parental leave and part-time
work. The
Work-Life Balance campaign covers England and Scotland.
